Experienced Machine Operators

Location: Cavan

Pay: $37.49 per hour basic rate (inclusive of 25% casual loading)

Hours : Mon - Fri 05:50am to 14:50pm or 2pm to 10pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our metal fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, using power tools, handling materials, and supporting production processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:



Operate metal fabrication machinery and equipment according to production specifications



Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently



Perform loading and stacking/sacking of raw materials and finished products



Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met



Conduct basic machine checks and report faults or maintenance needs



Measure and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and compliance



Maintain a clean and organized work area



Follow all company health and safety regulations

Work Environment:



Manufacturing/industrial setting



Noisy environment



Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required at all times (e.g., safety boots, gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, hard hat as required)



May involve lifting, standing for extended periods, and repetitive tasks

Skills and Qualifications:



Previous experience in metal fabrication or machine operation preferred



Strong attention to detail and quality control awareness



Ability to use power tools and fabrication equipment safely



Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks



Good communication skills



Ability to work effectively as part of a team



Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Desirable Attributes:



Basic mechanical knowledge



Experience working in a production or warehouse environment



Understanding of workplace safety procedures
